A prototype development plan has also been drafted for an innovative range of ‘Full Electric’ and ‘Hybrid’ ecologically friendly buses from the Bologna plant of IIA (Industria Italiana Autobus, formerly Bredamenarinibus), which is among those presented and financed by the Regional Authority through Regional Law 14 of 2004 for the promotion of investment in the Emilia-Romagna area. The bus company in Via San Donato put forward an investment plan worth over 3.4 million euros (that included the creation of twenty jobs, of which six will be for graduates), with a contribution of 1 million and 164,000 euros from the Regional Authority, fulfilling a commitment made by the president, Stefano Bonaccini, to support the relaunch of the company after the crisis of last year
