Every day, for over 25 years, Menarini CNG buses have carried thousands of passengers in comfort, in vehicles that are eco-sustainable and economical for their operators.
Moreover, all Menarini natural gas buses can be run on biomethane from renewable sources. Using biomethane, CO2 emissions are eliminated, and the buses emit only organic waste, which is easy to dispose of, creating new opportunities for economic development with even more advantages for the environment.

IIA is the leading supplier of methane LNG technology, having already produced, in collaboration with Italian partners only, all the components necessary for the production of Class I and Class II urban and suburban buses.
IIA is also busy setting up an Italian supply chain, an integrated “bus + infrastructure” system, for the production and distribution of LPG.
IIA and SNAM4MOBILITY are working together to offer public and private transport companies an integrated solution, supplying LNG buses (Class I and Class II) and installing refuelling stations at the transport companies’ depots, with financing options aimed at supporting specific projects.
Electric:
Already the Italian leader in methane LNG technology, IIA has also taken steps towards creating an e-mobility supply chain with its Italian technology and financial partners.
Starting from the experience gained in 2001 with the ZEUS – the pioneer electric minibus – IIA now has a new range of Urban BEVs, from 8 to 12 metres in length, capable of meeting the requirements of the “green transition” in our cities.
The heart of the new e-buses is a new generation energy storage and management system, developed by IIA. The new system can satisfy a wide range of requirements, with its long-range and high passenger capacity, thanks to its high energy density batteries and the availability of various types of recharging systems.
Hydrogen:
IIA is pressing forward with its plans to develop a green local public transport ecosystem, continually improving the current technology available in Italy with the introduction of H2-ICE, which brings together Punch, AVL Italia, IIA, Landi Renzo, and Tper, in an alliance aimed at developing an internal combustion engine that runs on hydrogen.
